Common Q&A's

1) Can I divide my gallon of water to walk with? Bring a gallon of water with you - Yes you can divide - A gallon is equivalent to 4.54 litres (UK). Milk bottles are useful to use if you do not wish to carry it in one bottle.

2) Can I bring my young child for the walk? Yes you can walk with them/push your buggy. There are no expectations for little people to carry the water if they cannot carry it.

3) Where can I park? Parking is available for £5 ALL day at Marlands Shopping centre. There are some disabled bays however minimal and they provide yellow lines for 3 hours only. Please check where you are parking.

4) is it free? Yes it is free to walk but for health and safety we expect you to register prior to coming. If this is a problem please email amberchi3@aol.com to give details. We don't mind if you turn up on the day to walk however for Your protection please do try to register so we can safely Marshall the walk.
There is a free drumming workshop for everyone, free music and some stalls that are selling goods. Also other family fun!

5) Is there food there or do I need to bring my own? As this is a poverty awareness event, we have limited the food vendors. There will be an ice cream van and stalls that are selling their own produce as part of supporting local businesses. This is situated in the centre of Southampton so there is access to food outlets. We ask if you would buy coffees from the The Art House who are a not for profit organisation. Feel free to bring food but please note it is your responsibility to clear up after yourselves so that we can respect the park and it's surroundings.
